I used to love paper crafting as a kid and recently decided to pick it back up again. Some friends have recently bought a house and I wanted to make them a little gift so decided to try my hand at a paper and card portrait! I've got lots of craft paper that o got at a charity shop past year so went through and found pieces I thought would work, cut out all the bits, assembled them and added some detail in pen and coloured pencil. My first time doing something like this and it came out good! I'm

This is an acrylic paintiTitle & Location: Plainfield, IndianaThis painting "Isabelle's 1910 Home", 12"x16?, was created as a mixed-media painting. The pictures of the house and a girl on the canvas were taken by an iPhone camera. I printed the photo on paper and tore along the edges. Then, I glued it to the canvas. I applied acrylic paint around the photos. During the Victorian era, they had many perennial gardens and decorated their interiors with lots of colored floral wallpaper.
